Hello!
First of all, i apologise for not writing in german. I read a lot of the posts on this forum to try and find a solution to my problem : the internet on my mobile phone is extremely slow with the WLAN...
I have the following cable router : CH7485E , i guess that the standard router for kabel internet.
At first I opened the guest network, to try and see if that solved the problem : it did not.
Then I deactivated the firewall, but still no improvement.
As that seems to be the case for a lot of people here, i followed the recommendation to deactivate the iPv6 protocol by calling the Telecolumbus hotline. It did not improve the speed, the request of a simple page takes more than 10 seconds. Only the Facebook app works fast.
So, does anyone have a recommendation to get the internet on my mobile (an LG g4 running on android lollipop) to work properly ?
Thank you very much for your help !
Alex

Could it be a problem with the used WLAN-Channel? Try a Wlan-Test-App e.g. WifiAnalyzer (https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... fianalyzer).
If many WLAN-Devices use the same channel (see attachment), you will probably have a slow internet connection. In this case try to use another channel. You can adjust it in the router configuration.

Did you try a different handset, like from a friend or relative? What about notebook? All the same problems?
Re: Slow internet on mobile even after ipv6 deactivation
Hey guys, thanks for the answers!
So actually on the laptops it's totally fine everything is really fast.
Concerning the channels, weird thing is that the android app (from the screenshot) tells me i'm on channel 14 and that it's a terrible quality, but when i try the same thing on my mac (using NetSpot), it says the network is perfect but that i'm on the channel 11.
So i tried to login to my 192.168.0.1 but now my credentials won't work... So i'll try and request a new one to TC
Meanwhile if you have another idea, i would gladly try it
Cheers,
Alex

The username / password for logging into the Kabelbox is "admin" (username) and "tc" (password). I think it could be related to Android. It behaves problematic with certain routers.
